Wealth Is a Capacity Before It’s a Currency

What if the abundance you’ve prayed for arrived tomorrow – could you hold it? 2 Kings 4 : 3–6 – Elisha tells the widow: “Go outside, borrow vessels … not too few.” The oil only stopped when every jar was full. Isaiah 54 : 2 – Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent…

Motherhood – Being Present

Today, I had a moment. There are moments when we have to choose between. These are the ones that are the hardest. Because its seems like we’re always meant to choose our babies – and we do – a million times over. It’s just that sometimes choosing them means choosing the work, or the thing…

Unpacking Visibility – why are we afraid to be seen?

There’s an oft quoted story that goes… When the elephant is young, a trainer ties a thin rope to its ankle and drives a small stake into the earth. The calf pulls, tires, and finally concludes the rope is stronger than its will. Years pass. Five tons of silent power now stand docile beside that…

Spring. ‘25 Spring. ‘25
Let faith be your anchor. When storms rise, when Let faith be your anchor.
When storms rise, when it seems like darkness advances, and the dawn is not yet come. Anchor yourself to that rock, that corner stone, that precious , elect stone, that never changes. That is eternal. The rock of ages, who is with us, until the end.
Until the end of that storm.
Until the dawn breaks.
Until your light comes.

This is never an easy space to open up or talk about, but I hope that today’s reflection meets you where you are, and that you can find a minute to reflect on “what does faithful stewardship look like for me?” I like how both 1 Timothy 3:15 and these key financial stewardship principles anchored on Psalm 24:1 tie together beautifully in the context of faith, responsibility, and managing resources wisely. Here’s a deeper look:

“The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” Psalm 24 (KJV)

•God Owns Everything
Stewardship begins with recognizing that everything belongs to God (Psalm 24:1). This includes our finances, possessions, relationships, and even the opportunities we encounter.

•We Are Managers, Not Owners
In God’s household, we are tasked with managing His blessings in alignment with His will. This applies to spiritual leadership as described in 1 Timothy and extends to how we manage resources in our daily lives.

•Faithfulness and Accountability
Just as Paul wrote about how to conduct oneself in God’s household, stewardship requires faithfulness. Luke 16:10 reminds us that “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.”

•Living Generously
Stewardship isn’t just about managing well; it’s about giving generously. Proverbs 11:25 says, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”

•Planning and Vision
Proverbs 21:5 highlights that “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.” Good stewardship involves foresight and wisdom, much like Paul’s instructions about church leadership in 1 Timothy.

“The Lord was with him; he was successful in whatever he undertook.” (2 Kings 18:7)

Hello, hello, hello! 😊

Today’s reflection invites us to pause and lean in—not just to scroll or “bookmark for later.” It draws us intentionally into the life of King Hezekiah, a powerful example of intentional time stewardship.

We see Hezekiah prioritize God above all else. He removed idols, trusted God, and led his people with unwavering focus and obedience. His time was marked by intentional actions that aligned with God’s purpose.
Hezekiah’s story challenges us to align our time with God’s purpose, trust Him with our decisions, and overcome the fear and doubt that so often hold us back. These obstacles can paralyze us, delaying action and causing us to lose precious time.

This reflection offers practical strategies to steward your time wisely, take bold steps forward, and trust that God is with you in every moment.

The Lord says, “I have entrusted you with time, a sacred gift. Do not waste it on fleeting distractions or pursuits that do not honor Me. Like Hezekiah, align your days with My purpose - remove what hinders, and trust Me to guide your steps. Each moment is a seed; sow it wisely for My glory’s and you will reap a harvest of wisdom and peace. I am with you as you steward this gifts walk boldly, for I have ordained your time.”

Where’s one area where you’ll align with God so you can steward your time well? Let’s reflect together in the comments!

we’re creating a space (& a community) that amplifies frameworks, tools and strategies to help you deep-dive into uncomfortable depths to reach into that really prickly growth space where you can thrive, and emerge from it with peace , confidence & knowledge to handle whatever comes your way at work, in business , or in your finances, becoming holistically, a wealthy woman.

This is a sneak peak of the first episode of the series - stay tuned!
I am reminded of this every time I think about the I am reminded of this every time I think about the challenges I see our people face everyday - struggling with school fees, rent, job uncertainties, remnant struggles from the pandemic, businesses facing closure, and those who’re losing hope in a rapidly changing economic environment.

We wish things were different, we hope, we dream, we resolve to push through. We get caught up in the daily grind. Three years … five years…eight years pass by…

I imagine how it’d look like if we weren’t so dependent on single sources of income , if we had a nest egg tucked somewhere to draw upon in hard times, and if we could be free to pursue our true interests without having to need to work for a single paycheck.

How would it look like to be comfortable in our ‘retirement’ years, not having to worry about working / hustling well into our 70s & 80s, to buy food and have a roof over our head? To not depend on our children for our basic needs as we grow older ?

#smallbeginnings • I wonder too how it would be if we taught our children and young people earlier about the power of small beginnings (Do not despise the day of small beginnings - Zechariah 4:10) , about investing, about compound interest , about value entrepreneurship - and more. Just as a small investment grows over time, so does the wisdom of starting early. Plant the seeds of their financial futures today.

#Legacy • Let’s create a new, & different legacy. Start investing now, no matter how much you have or where you are. A little goes a long way in time & it’s never too late to start. Redefine your tomorrow by making the commitment today. Invest in yourself & seek the knowledge to change the narrative & build a legacy for your family.

Start with your mind.
